I know it. You know it. They know it.

But what if, hear me out, you actually made the list and then actually watched the movies on that list?

I know it’s crazy. Why would you ever put in the effort to watch something someone you care about recommends to you personally? Why would you delight their day by telling them you actually listened to their recommendation and watched the movie? Why would you do something that would deepen your relationship and only cost you a couple of hours of watching an entertaining movie?

You should make the list. You should watch the list.

When a close friend, a co-worker you’re becoming friends with, a mentor, a family member, or your favourite barista recommends a piece of media to you (TV show, movie, album, etc.) they are, in a way, offering you a piece of their soul. They’re saying,

Hey, I liked this thing. This thing touched me in a profound way. It made me laugh/cry/smile/feel gratitude/angry/hopeful/inspired/see myself/see you and I want you to experience it. I want to talk to you about it.

In an age where we’re spending too much of our days scrolling social media, binging Netflix originals, and rewatching comfort shows, it actually feels a little pathetic to not be able to take 2 hours to watch a movie that someone recommended to you.

And think about it selfishly even. You might find a new favourite film. You might learn something. You might actually enjoy yourself. Seeing your friend happy will make you feel good too.

If you genuinely know you won’t like the film or even be able to watch it (me with 99% of horror movies), then say that. Be honest. But if the only reason you don’t want to watch someone’s recommendation is that it now feels like a burden to go watch it, then seek help.

I have read books, listened to music, and watched movies based off of my friends’ recommendations. It helps me to know more about what they like, let’s me peek behind the curtain to see what they enjoy in their spare time: the music they put on when they’re getting ready, the movie they watch when they’re sick, the book they’ve read at least 10 times. What a joy it is to know my friends in these small moments. To share art is a gift and to enjoy it together is a celebration.

<picture></picture>

<g>

</g><polyline points="15 3 21 3 21 9"></polyline><polyline points="9 21 3 21 3 15"></polyline><line x1="21" x2="14" y1="3" y2="10"></line><line x1="3" x2="10" y1="21" y2="14"></line>

So yes, make the list. grasping. We used to live in a world that have a regular schedule of when you could watch TV, you would get your news from a newspaper or newscast, and you would buy music in the form of albums.

Albums have been the traditional way of releasing music, primarily due to the formats in which music used to be shared. There were records that only contained two songs (A Side and B Side) which was popular in the 50s and 60s in an era of the jukebox. However the culture began to shift and artists began to curate longer albums, usually along one thematic line—which would become the ‘concept album’ we know and love today. Other physical formats like cassettes and CDs also made it more logical to release albums rather than individuals singles (we won’t get bogged down in EPs and LPs right now).

Thanks for reading Gallery for Life! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work.

In the 2000s the digital wave hit, the music was good and people wanted more without paying for it all. If you heard a song on the radio that you liked but didn’t want to buy the full album, you could illegally download the song or buy it as a single on iTunes. And today you can access basically the entire catalog of the world’s recorded music on a handful of streaming services.

The shift happened fast. I remember the joy of buying CDs in the 2000s and the sadness of experiencing the music store in my local mall closing down. I remember being able to find music through YouTube and deciding which songs I wanted to download off iTunes onto my iPod. And then Spotify took over and exposed me to a world of music I was otherwise cut off from.

I had an interesting conversation with a terrible person when I was 19, but he made a good point to me. He asked me when the last time I listened to a full-length album was, and I couldn’t remember. Despite loving many albums as a kid, the rise and fall, the songs that never got music videos but were my favourites; I had abandoned the format like many others. The music channels had stopped playing compilations of music videos and radio became a last-case-scenario while driving. I found new music only through playlists and recommendations by the Spotify algorithm or a rogue suggestion from a friend.

I am grateful to streaming services for allowing me to explore music without much risk. If you want to try out a new genre and you’re not sure where to start, Spotify is a great guide and you don’t need to spend hard earned money on risking if an album is worth it. But I think this is also a disservice to us.

When I hear a song that I don’t like, I can simply press ‘next’. If I don’t like an artist, I don’t have to suck it up and listen to an album I spent money on. And in doing so, I give into my rabid dopamine driven brain, returning to the hits again and again.

Sitting with art and media that we don’t like teaches us as much, if not more, than sitting with what we know and like. I’m not suggesting that we should do something unenjoyable with our time, but I am saying we need to slow down and take some artistic risks.

So here’s my plea: listen to album. And make it a regular practice.

If you want to go hard mode, you can still buy albums from artists you’re unfamiliar with and give them a chance. But sit with albums. Go through the slow parts, the boring parts, the parts that grate on you. Sit with the discomfort and the knowledge that you don’t have to like everything and you never have to listen to it again. You will never develop taste without taking more risks and you may never find the hidden gems and deep cuts that were written for your ears only.

While I do believe it’s good for your brain, it is also respectful of the artist that put time and effort into creating it. Of course artists are usually grateful to have hit songs that receive critical acclaim and mass play, but many also put care and thought into curating an album. Albums can have a story (Preacher’s Daughter by Ethel Cain), explore a range of human emotions and experiences (Either/Or by Elliott Smith), or discuss a social or political issue the artist cares about (Biophilia by Björk).

There’s too much instant gratification in the world right now. I know that’s such a lukewarm take, but people seem unaware of how to actually address the problem within themselves. Instant gratification is everywhere and seeps into so many aspects of our lives, and music is one of them. So listen to an album. Put an album on during a party or road trip. Listen to the best album nominees and winners, see what the hype is about. But throw a wrench in your playlist rotation and listen to an album.

Listen to an album, because your favourite song might not be a hit.

Thanks for reading Gallery for Life! href="https://unsplash.com">Unsplash

You see, there’s an ever shifting balance in our minds, a desire to consume and a desire to create. We should all be chasing that equilibrium.

Whenever I see a writer or artist complain about burnout or waiting for inspiration, I want to ask them the last time they went outside or gazed into a painting. When I see others complaining about a life as a dull wash of greys, I want to ask them when they last picked up a pencil and drew something.

There are creatives who throw themselves into their craft. Staring a blank canvases and blinking computer screens, even when they have no gas in the tank. External and internal pressures to create something keep these people pushing on and on, without realizing they are dipping into their reserves. Eventually that well runs dry, ‘writer’s block’ hits, and resentment grows.

There are people who wish to tune the world out. Constantly jamming the airwaves with podcasts and music, binge watching, and endless scrolling. Suppressing every thought or emotion and, worse, being given thoughts and emotions with no time to process, they justify clinging to their consumption as a coping mechanism for the news they are inevitably doomscrolling. They numb the most basic of human instincts, walling themselves off from themselves and the physical world around them.

I, like many people, swing wildly between these two extremes. Often times unnoticing that I am sitting in extreme ways of living. And if you related to one, or both of these, consider balancing your creative well.

A strategy that has helped me cope is to picture my creativity as a well within me. I can fill the well with experiences: interacting with nature and other people, looking at paintings or other art, reading books and articles, (mindfully) watching video essays and movies, listening to music. If we fill our well too much, it overflows and washes away parts of us. We begin to feel comforted by the feeling of drowning, that it is better to have too much than not enough.

We pull from the well when we create something: paintings, songs, essays, poems, food, playlists, collages. And sometimes the flow hits, ideas and art pouring out of us. The release feels good. And when we think that the muse is here to stay, we keep pulling buckets with mere droplets. The well runs dry, the stones disintegrate as we scrape and scrape for what remains.

Balancing the well is an eternal struggle, but the more we can recognize when it’s dry or overflowing, the easier it will become to rectify.

When ‘inspiration’ runs dry, it’s time to find something to fill up with. This is probably not your comfort rewatch show (that has its own time/place/purpose), but something you might not have even considered. Watch a stand up special, listen to an album from the year you were born, peruse your local art gallery or museum. Worry less about what your next project will be and simply be open to creativity swirling around you.

When you’re overflowing, it’s time to turn off the taps. This is more challenging than running dry because you’re likely rubbing up against some form of technology addiction and dopamine spikes. If you don’t consider yourself an artist, you can find other ways to create around you. Journal a few pages freehand, create a vision board, pick up a pencil and do a rough sketch of something in your house. You can slow the flow by practicing more mindful consumption, easing up on social media scrolling and binge watching. And find your creative outlet. Even writing reviews after every episode or movie you watch can slow your brain down enough to process what you’re watching.

The exchange rate at the well is never one for one, and it is usually not conscious. Listening to an album might move us to create an unrelated painting simply by allowing us to access a memory or emotion. You’ve probably heard the advice over and over again that you need to develop hobbies, but something is stopping you. Maybe no activity has spoken to you or maybe you’re slowed down by the need for perfection at the first step. Well, let’s try to simplify hobbies and find some easy access points for everyone.

<picture><img src="https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!gv-N!,w_1456,c_limit,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fa3eee8c0-54d5-4997-af90-ecdfce6ccc78_558x629.jpeg" width="558" height="629" data-attrs="{"src":"https://substack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com/public/images/a3eee8c0-54d5-4997-af90-ecdfce6ccc78_558x629.jpeg","srcNoWatermark":null,"fullscreen":null,"imageSize":null,"height":629,"width":558,"resizeWidth":null,"bytes":null,"alt":"What Hobbies do you have? Basically anything that you can picture a retired woman doing. But hobbies are simply

“a pursuit outside one’s regular occupation engaged in especially for relaxation.”

Pretty much anything you do outside of work or school could be considered a hobby. In my opinion, to make a hobby a hobby, you must embody it and own it! Develop a passion and depth of knowledge, and form a level of expertise in whatever it is. So if you passively watch TV while scrolling on your phone, I wouldn’t call that hobby time. And for me, even though I wear make up, I don’t consider it my hobby because to me it’s just something I do occasionally. But if you’re a walking encyclopedia of TV shows or an expert at make up application, maybe they are hobbies for you. So let’s see…

Step #3: Find Hobbies That You’re Already Doing

A simple way to find hobbies is to look at your daily activities and embody one or many as a hobby. What do I mean by this? Below is a list of things you’re maybe doing on a daily basis and some related activities to invest in them to make them into bigger hobbies. For example, if you enjoy cooking, which is likely something you’re doing every day, you might simply add to that routine and build your skillset and interest around it. More ideas:

Make Up, Clothes, Style

Work on trying new make up/hair/nail art techniques regularly

Create new outfits

Learn about sewing and garment design

Create vision boards and develop a sense of style

Engage with fashion magazines and events

Experiment with new looks regularly

Cooking, Baking

Cook a new recipe every week

Learn how to cook one dish/dessert from every country

Work on plating food in an aesthetic way

Make every recipe in a cookbook

Create recipes from randomly selected ingredients

Write a personal cookbook

Consuming Media: Music, Movies, TV Shows, Video Games, Books

Write reviews for what you engage with and share publicly if you want (RateYourMusic, Letterboxd, Goodreads, for example)

Listen/Watch/Read different genres

Create a challenge: watch every Best Picture Oscar Winner, Read a Book Written in Every Province, etc

Try a new style of video game

Become a beta player or reader for newly developed launches

Walking

Learn about local plants and trees and try to identify them when you’re outside

Get into bird watching

Use your walking time to engage with podcasts and audiobooks on topics you’re interested in

Step #4: Find Hobbies That You’re Sometimes Doing

Next step is to think about activities that you do occasionally and again lean into them more deeply:

Watching sports

Find a bar that shows your team’s games and attend regularly

Host weekly watch parties at your place

Develop a blog to share your thoughts about the team/league

Play the sport in a fun league!

Watching live performances

Make a monthly or weekly commitment to go to shows regularly

Read source materials for shows (plays, operas)

Go to smaller shows/venues and support amateur acts

Drinking wine/beer/cocktails

Track what varieties of wine and beer you’re drinking in an app or a notebook

Create a challenge to try different varieties (e.g., one wine from every continent)

Attend tasting classes/meetups

Learn how to make cocktails at home

Try and recreate bar cocktails at home

Experiment with food pairings

Going to restaurants

Write reviews for the new restaurants you try or document on social media

Try new cuisines

Keep up with local news and go to new openings

Step #5: Find Hobbies That Are (Probably) New To You

This is the hardest section because it’s time for some self-reflection. You’re also going to need to invest more with this section, not just money but time and research. The challenge will be to 1) carve out the time to add these to your schedule regularly, 2) purchase equipment, courses, or memberships, and 3) learn something from scratch (probably). So, let’s see if we can find you something:

At the end of the hobby, do you want to have something physical to show for it?

Knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, sewing, wood working, glass blowing, metal smithing, jewelry making, scrapbooking, drawing, painting, sketching, pottery, canning/pickling, candle making, weaving, DIY, upcycling furniture, making collages, writing, journaling, card making, embroidery, gardening, floral arranging, model building, origami, collections (stamps, coins, etc)

Do you want to become more knowledgeable?

Reading, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries, writing, research, attending lectures and courses, learn by doing (apprentice, talk to experts), creating worksheets/curriculum/slide decks, visit museums

Do you want to meet new people and find a community?

Sports (playing or watching), dance classes, art classes, public lectures, bird watching, run clubs, hiking groups, climbing gyms, foraging, cooking classes, wine tastings, acting and improv, board games, visit museums and art galleries, RPGs, quizzes, Esports

Do you want to develop a skill?

Animation, storyboarding, coding, cooking, baking, botany/plant identification and foraging, making cheese, making wine/beer, canning/pickling, arts and crafts, graphic design, language learning, magic, tea blending, photography, video editing, juggling, writing

Do you want to be outside?

Walking, running, hiking, citizen science, birdwatching, foraging, botany, urban exploring, gardening, kayaking, canoeing, rafting, surfing, group sports, rock climbing, rollerblading, trainspotting, beekeeping, skiing, fishing, stargazing

Step #6: Embrace Amateurism

I think most of us have that voice in our heads that tells us that if we don’t do good at an activity on first try that we should give up. Life truly is a marathon, and you have many years to keep building your skills. I find when I get overwhelmed with learning a new task that it’s best to focus on the end goal. I want to be that grandparent that’s read and owns hundreds and hundreds of books. To get there, I simply need to read a little bit today, then a bit tomorrow, and a bit more the next day and time will compound the rest. Let’s learn to walk before we sign up for a marathon.

<picture></picture>

<g>

</g><polyline points="15 3 21 3 21 9"></polyline><polyline points="9 21 3 21 3 15"></polyline><line x1="21" x2="14" y1="3" y2="10"></line><line x1="3" x2="10" y1="21" y2="14"></line>

It’s also okay to try something and decide it isn’t for you. And it’s also okay to try a bunch of things and enjoy them just fine. It’s also okay to find one activity that you love and only do that.

Step #7: Find the Time

If your chosen hobby is already built into your schedule, then adding more time and intention behind it should come fairly easy. If you’re embarking on a new hobby, then it’s going to take some planning on your part as to when you’ll slot it in. It could be an every day type of hobby or something you do occasionally, but make sure it is something you want to do and then find the time will come easier.

Wrapping Up

For every person that tells you there are rules to life or to self-development or whatever, remember that it really isn’t that serious. Yes hobbies are great and can lead to a more fulfilling, well-rounded life. But you have to make them work for your life.

I hope these lists have encouraged you to explore something new or learn more about something you’re already doing. Hobbies don’t have to have a high cost of entry; take advantage of free online resources where you can, borrow or buy used equipment, and ask your friends and family to introduce you to their hobbies.

Happy hobbying!

Thanks for reading Gallery for Life! It’s good for your brain health and it’s good for the soul. But…

Do you actually want to read?

Reading is one of those hobbies and interests that our society has nearly unanimously marked as ‘morally good’. You’ll find few people who think reading is a waste of time. And because of that, the pressure to become a reader is actually pretty unique.

Thanks for reading Gallery for Life! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work.

I think the pressure and seemingly moral nature of reading makes this question a legitimate starting point. Do you want to read because you have positive associations with reading as a child? Do you want to read because you want to learn something new? Do you want to read because you want to try something new? Or do you want to read because everyone is telling you that it’s a worthwhile use of your time?

And the truth is, I would encourage anyone to try reading regardless of how they answer. But the point in asking is to understand that if reading does not suit you, you do not have to be a reader. It is not a moral failing to not read books.

Okay, let’s jump right in to your easy guide to making reading a part of your life!

1. Find Your Format

Did you love story time as a kid but struggled to read on your own? Boy do I have good news about audiobooks. But seriously, format matters! I encourage you to try all of them and even have one of each on the go at once so you can switch between them (good to keep them all different genres in that case).

Physical Books

A classic is a classic. Holding a physical book is transformative and also necessary for some people. You get much more satisfaction seeing your progress in a physical book, rather than the digital page counters.

Graphic Novels, Comic Books, & Manga

Reading with pictures is still reading. In fact, this might be one of the better entry points for people out of practice. Visual storytelling elements will keep you engaged and moving through the story better.

E-Books

E-books, whether you have an e-reader or you’ll just use your phone/tablet, are a great resource. They are cheap (free if you find from Libby!), you can adjust the brightness which could help you focus, you can look up words easily, and they’re easy to carry around compared to the physical version.

Audiobooks

Good for people on the go. I also found it better to read classics this way, as I find soft spoken British people reading them is much more engaging. Unfamiliar words tend to roll by quicker this way so you won’t get as hung up on syntax.

2. Finding Your Genre Entry Point

The world of books is so vast and I firmly believe anyone can find something that speaks to them. But, it’s also overwhelming! Follow one or a few of these strategies to find your first reads:

Think About Your Favourite Movie/TV Genres and Find Equivalents

Luckily a lot of genres pass back and forth between fiction and film (of course if you like documentaries, I think non-fiction is the obvious choice). So you like thrillers? Books have those. Legal dramas? Got those too. Science fiction? Fantasy? Horror? Romance? Yes yes yes yes.

Now, if you like movies that are more character-driven then the genre you’ll want to look for in books is called literary fiction. The movie and literature industry have one thing in common: these styles are the award winners. So if you like typical Oscar winners, then this is where to go.

What’s Your Podcast of Choice?

Now, much like its noticeable absence in the section above, I will spend a moment talking about comedy, because I am a comedy podcast gal. In my opinion, comedy does not translate into the written word very well at all. Comedy needs some sort of physical storytelling. So if this is your go-to genre, I don’t have a recommendation. If you have a reverence for comedians/actors/writers themselves, then maybe you will find some memoirs that will satisfy with some amusing anecdotes, but I wouldn’t expect laugh-out-loud moments. (Though you should let me know if you find one of these).

Do you like true crime? Maybe you’ll find your fix in thrillers or learning about the science and sociology of criminal investigations. Maybe you’ll enjoy books written by investigative journalists.

Do you like self-help? Then that’s pretty self-explanatory, but definitely try to branch out to psychology, philosophy, and memoirs in addition to straight self-help.

Do you like pop culture or moral dilemma types? General fiction is probably the way to go but memoirs might also fit. And also check out essay collections.

Do you like politics, history, and philosophy podcasts? This again translates well into nonfiction distinctions but two other points: 1) be careful what books you pick up because sometimes chain bookstores will include dense academic texts in these sections and a boring book could stop you in your reading quest! 2) I think there is some well done science fiction and fantasy that is inspired by politics and philosophy which can help to examine these things from a unique perspective, and is worth a shot.

What Do You Want To Learn About?

This feels very non-fiction, but I promise you can learn from fiction. If you want to learn about people and their lives, general fiction, literary fiction, and memoirs are a great place to start. And if you’re a fiction lover looking to dip your toe into nonfiction, then double on the memoir encouragement! These genres get you into someone else’s perspective and life. You might have a lot in common with the character or you might have (seemingly) nothing. You can learn about different types of people, cultures, professions, countries, and more.

But, you might have other general curiosities and this is where nonfiction can be a great resource. Maybe you want to learn more about a certain period in history or a political movement or of the natural world around you. Maybe you want to dive deeper into spirituality or learn skills that will help you in your job or to launch a business. Whatever you want to learn about, there’s a book out there for you.

Childhood Joys

Try reading a book from your youth! Not only is it fun to revisit old stories and characters that you related to when you were younger, but reading books at a simpler reading level can be a huge boost of confidence and way to oil the machine if you haven’t read in a long time. But maybe you’ll want to revisit a classic you read in high school English class. Chances are you retained more than you thought and you’ll be able to reconnect with your experiences of reading before which will make for an easier adjustment.

School Subjects

If you’re struggling to figure out what you like, it can also be beneficial to think back to which school subjects you enjoyed/did well in. You can think about projects you worked on and what sticks out in your memory.

Social Studies —> History, philosophy, memoirs

Math & Science —> Nature, earth science, paleontology, physics, nutrition, psychology, ‘pop’ science

English —> Classics, fiction, plays, essay collections, poetry

Gym —> Body science, nutrition, sports biographies/memoirs

Band/Choir —> Music biographies/memoirs, history

Art —> Art history, cultural nonfiction, general fiction, graphic novels

Who Do You Admire?

Think about a celebrity, public figure, or historical figure you admire. There is a good chance you can find a memoir or biography of someone you look up to. And if not, consider those peoples’ idols and read about them.

Good Old-Fashioned Recommendations

In all likelihood, you have someone in your life who likes to read. Ask them for a recommendation! If you’re the kind of person to say “I’ll add it to the list” and then never do anything about it, I’m here with a gentle call out. Not only can you find your next favourite whatever from following a recommendation, but you can make a friend/family member/mentor feel seen and heard when you read their favourite book.

3. The Practical Plan

Get the Books

First and foremost, don’t break the bank. Owning books is so fun and I encourage you to invest in your reading material, but it’s good to be mindful of overconsumption. Check out your local thrift stores for used copies, borrow books from friends, and check out your local library.

And speaking of your library? If you want audiobooks and e-books for free, most libraries provide access to an app called Libby. Sure, you may have to wait a while for a copy of a new release but there’s always plenty of options.

For audiobooks, you can also check out Spotify Premium and you may find some public domain audiobooks on YouTube.

Make The Time

If you’re serious about adding reading (or anything else) as a hobby, you have to make the time for it. Make it a part of your routines, maybe as you have your morning coffee, or right when you get home from work to unwind, or as part of your evening routine to keep you off your phone before sleep. The average person reads about 1 page per minute, so if you read for 10 minutes every day for one month, you will have read 300 pages which is a pretty average size for a book. Do that consistently and you’ll have read 10-12 books in a year!

But it’s also good to understand yourself. Are you likely to do something for a little bit every day? Or do you prefer longer sessions every few days? Understanding how the hobby will better fit into your life will help you actually reach your goals. If reading every day feels like a burden then you’ll give it up, but if you going days without reading will make you forget the book exists then you’ll also give up. There’s no one way to do this and the more you flex your reading muscle, the easier it will be to make time. Have fun, experiment, and find what works.

How to find some small time:

Commuting. Like most people, you’re probably commuting to and from work or school every day. This could be a good time to either read or listen to audiobooks.

Little breaks. This maybe isn’t an every day occurrence, but when you’re waiting for an appointment, a meeting, or for someone to arrive you can bust out an e-book or book and read a few pages while you wait. This will also help with decreasing social media scrolling.

Chores/Cooking. Have to do something around the house? Consider putting an audiobook in the background to keep you entertained.

Set Goals & Challenges

Setting reading goals may or may not help you, but you know yourself best. You can set goals that are more standard: X amount of books every month/year, X number of pages every day, etc. Or you can do a more interesting challenge. Read the Alphabet: either go by book title or author last name A through Z. Let me know how X goes. I’ve seen people read one book from every country in Africa, you can pick any region or do it for internal regions in your country. Read through the rainbow: pick books based on the main cover colour, either ROYGBIV or pick your own colours.

You can also keep things to a more general motivation. Maybe your goal is simply to read more books this year. Maybe the goal is to learn something new. Maybe the goal is to spend less time on social media. Try to at least dig into some deeper motivation, even if you don’t want to set strict goals.

Accountability & Community

If you’re having trouble staying committed (or you anticipate that you will), then you might get a boost from accountability partners and/or community. This could look like you and a friend reading the same book and talking to each other about it. It could be joining a book club. It could look like engaging with book communities online (e.g., Goodreads, Booktok, Bookstagram), even if just for short-term motivation.

THAT STILL COUNTS AS READING

One note I want to end on is some reassurance and validation, namely that you’re already a reader. If you’re on social media, you’re reading every single day. You’re likely reading at work. Maybe you’re reading the news every day. Maybe you’re reading at school. Maybe you’re even reading to your kids. Or reading fan fiction. Hell, you’re reading on Substack right now.

The best piece of advice I can give if you want to read more books is that you recognize that you’re already reading every day and you can make a conscious effort to read in a different format. Instead of reading social media posts and captions for 30 minutes a day, you can spend that time reading from a book. If you’re ready for a change, there’s a book waiting for you!

Happy reading!

Thanks for reading Gallery for Life!
